Japan Polaroid Zine

In June of 2018, I moved to Japan from Canada. I chronicled the first 30 days since moving by shooting a Polaroid a day (no skipping a day, no retakes, no multiples). This book consists of 30 spreads, each with the Polaroid shot that day on the left and a memento/item pertaining to that day on the right.

This project explores the everyday minutiae that together make up a life-changing move. Every profound event, when broken down, is made up of small trivial details.

All photographs were shot on Polaroid 600 film using a Polaroid Sun 660.
